{day 29}

i’m resting in these truths today.

i struggle a lot with wanting everything to be perfect. when it isn’t, i end up stressed, disappointed, grouchy.

why do i value perfection {so stinking much!} when brokenness and messy conditions are perfect for God’s power to shine through?

today, i’m thankful that Jesus doesn’t always give me what i ask for and that He’s not afraid to turn my life upside down for His glory. may there be less of me and more of Him!

    Do you remember “His Strength is Perfect” by Steven Curtis Chapman? It’s almost 20 years old now but still beautiful. Basically that scripture set to music.

    Day 29) I am thankful to have a mystery solved. Off and on for years now I’ve been remembering a book I read as a kid. Well, I found it! A Google search for “shrunken people dollhouse” led me to whatsthatbook.com where I found not only the book I was looking for, “Mindy’s Mysterious Miniature” but also discovered that there is a sequel, “The Lost Farm.” Both are out of print but I ordered used copies from Amazon. I hope it’s as good as I remember!

      I don’t…you’d better believe I’m going to look it up though!

      How fun! I hope it’s even better than you remember!

      Have a great weekend, Selah!
