When something works, it works. Like this cardigan. I have worn it about 5.75 out of the last 7 days because it’s just cozy and I want to feel cozy and I have no shame.
Until yesterday, when Troy gave me an intervention. He told me very sweetly that just because I’m remixing it doesn’t mean that certain people in my life don’t see that it’s the same item and people like variety. (Hmm…who in the world could he possibly be talking about? :))
The man’s got a point.
I love variety, too. But sometimes I need a little push to get there.
Even though I love pushing myself to come up with new outfits, sometimes it’s still hard to get out of a rut.
It’s always easier to stay with what’s comfortable. Always. But there are so many things out there I want to try, whether that’s an outfit that pushes me out of my comfort zone or coming up with somewhere new to eat rather than our tried and true restaurant or taking a big ol scary risk.
We’re coming up on a new year, which is always a great time to start fresh, but there’s no need to wait. Any day is a great day to make things happen.

What are you waiting for? Go make what matters happen!
Psst. Also, if you’re looking for a guide to help you get things done, I am obsessed with Lara’s Power Sheets. Ob-sessed. They usually sell out before the end of the year, so get cho self some.
