tip time

i am an all or nothing person. and i like things matchy matchy. when i first had the idea to share a tip with you today i immediately thought, “i could make it a weekly feature on thursday- thursday tip, tip time on thursday, or some multiple ‘t’ saying! i would do it every week and it would be so great and…”

at that point i stopped myself because i like the idea but i need to slow down. i’ll probably have a new idea next week that i like better. so i’ll share a tip today and maybe tomorrow too or maybe never again.

alright. are you ready? i have had a very big issue with clingy clothes lately. static static everywhere. static static leave my hair! that’s my morning mantra. ok not really but i’m very static-y. i came across this tip the other day: put a safety pin in the hem of the garment you’re wearing and voila! the cling is gone. click here for the source (along with 16 other tips to make your life easier).

i’ll be truthful- i don’t have a safety pin in my home (why? i don’t know. i need to change that.) so i haven’t tried it out yet. hopefully it’s good advice i’m giving you. be a doll and let me know, will you? and if you have a safety pin, please send it my way. gratzi.

Love the safety pin tip, but I am always going through my closet looking for the pin in the last dress I wore, lol. It really does work though. Sometimes I have to use two depending on the dress/skirt.

I’m so glad to know it works! Thanks for the tip to use two sometimes. I’m going to have to buy a big bunch of them so I can have them in all of my static-y pieces.
