thrifty goodness

this vera wang beauty is one of my favorite thrifted skirts. it was $3.00 at the mckinney goodwill. (side note: if you’re ever in mckinney that is the place to shop! well, according to all the cool people. and by cool people i mean me and my friends so if you think we’re not cool you’re probably better off shopping elsewhere.) (and possibly definitely reassessing your thoughts about coolness.)

speaking of thrifty-goodness, i came across a new blog the other day…and was so excited when i saw the authors are two sweet girls i went to high school with!

julie and michelle are beautiful women- inside and out, plus they’ve got some great tips for staying on trend for less. hop right over and pay them a visit.

Such an awesome skirt! Why have you not worn that before? (Or have you, and my stalking skills just need brushing up?)

Ha. No, I haven’t. Rest assured your stalker skills are intact! I don’t know why I haven’t worn it yet this year. Well, I do need to take in the waist a bit. It’s elasticy but doesn’t sit where I want it so I have to belt it, which I don’t always feel like doing. I need to just take it to my mom’s and have her help me with it.
