these boots were made for walkin’

{day 16}

today (err…yesterday) i am was thankful the weather’s finally cool enough i’m not pushing the envelope to wear boots. above are a few boot remixes from early in the year.

this fall i’ve worn lots of black, brown, and cream with them. equestrian is always in, right? as is pretending to be an equestrian?

what’s that? you say that the tiny coin-operated horses don’t count? ah well, it was worth a shot.

    Love the mix of neutrals in the outfit with the striped sweater.

    Day 16) I am thankful for Wishbone. Did you ever watch that show on PBS? My son & I are currently reading the Wishbone Classics series and I LOVE it! It’s great to be able to share really classic stories with him at a reading level that he can handle. The authors have done a fabulous job of keeping true to the source material.

    Day 17) Today I am thankful for my very first pair of colored skinny jeans! I got these today:–stretch-colored-jeggings/101216573/572

      LOVED Wishbone! We just found out it was filmed close to here. History was always a favorite subject and Wishbone made it even more fun :)

      And YAY for your first pair of colored skinnies! That’s a gorgeous color. Are you having fun remixing them?

    My youngest brother has a BA in English Lit and he said that most of the stuff he had to read for his degree he was familiar with because of Wishbone. :)

    I am having so much fun thinking up outfits! Just like my olive cargo pants, these purple jeans seem to go with everything!

      Too funny! I hope Wishbone reruns are still on when we have kids old enough to watch them.

      Yay for purple jeans! I hope you’re still having fun remixing them :)
