The Lovely Lookbook: Boots & Booties

Happy New Year! We’re so glad you’re here.

The Lovely Lookbook is a monthly link up featuring gorgeous looks from women of all shapes, sizes and styles based on the theme of the month. You’ll definitely find new ways to wear your go-to’s, and we hope you share them with us!

This month, The Lovely Lookbook features boots and booties.

Sarah wore tall gray boots.

This is one of my favorite casual looks. A basic tee dressed up with a blazer; couldn’t be more perfect.

Outfit details: blazer via KUT from the Kloth, tee via Target, jeans via Ross, boots via Francesca’s. Now is the time to stock up on boots with all the sales going on. I got these boots for 40% off and they have been a staple in my winter wardrobe for two years now.

Caitlin wore little black booties.

I’ve been wanting to create a cozy look with my sequin skirt, so I paired it with a soft turtle neck, and added tights and booties in the same color to lengthen my leg line. The skirt makes a big statement, so I kept my jewelry to simple earrings to finish off the look.

Outfit details: turtleneck via Gap; skirt via J. Crew Factory; opaque hose via Target, and booties via Payless.

What did you wear? We can’t wait to see your looks! Link them up below.

Just a quick housekeeping note. We’re changing The Lovely Lookbook just a smidge. From here on out, we’ll let you know the looks for each quarter ahead of time. We decided to do away with the poll because we couldn’t find one to work across WordPress and Blogger and the poll also crashed Caitlin’s site during our last link up…yikes!  Here’s a look at the next few themes.
