squirrels, evernote, and diy projects

i have decided that i am the human version of a squirrel and evernote is my tree…i store everything there that i want to remember and come back to. well, except for food, so maybe the squirrel analogy stinks.

either way, i want to share some of the diy projects i’ve come across lately that i would do if i was buying clothes this year. i figure even if i can’t do them, maybe some of you will!

the first two are from a blog i discovered this week (thanks, laura!) called in honor of design. anna and i have a similar style and she’s got the best diy ideas, so needless to say, i’m hooked.

this necklace by kristina of simply bold is a knock off of an anthro one and it looks exactly the same. and cost $420 less. impressive.

this one i may actually do in some form or fashion over the course of the year. merrick, you’ve got me drooling over your neon color blocked top. i don’t know if i can give up this top, but i’d love to refashion it to look like krystal’s.

have you found (or done) any diy projects lately? please share! i want to find a few more that i can do with what i’ve got. have a great weekend!

linking up to the pleated poppy with my favorite outfit of the week!

Oh my gosh, that neon striped top is AMAZING. You should seriously do it.

Isn’t it though? It’s a little sad how much I keep thinking about it! :) The only thing holding me back is that I love my top. It’s so versatile and I would not be ok with it being ruined…but we’ll see!

This top is so cute! Love the colors. I’m gonna check out these DIY projects, I could use some switch ups in my closet.
