this day was fun and crazy and long, but i couldn’t go to bed without telling you how the fashion show went!
in the past, i wouldn’t have picked out this dress, but it has so many colors that it’s incredibly versatile. a belt adds definition, and a cropped blazer = instantly awesome in my book. my necklace was vintagey (if that’s not a word it should be) and gorgeous.
with me is my sweet friend, dawn. she has an adorable online boutique and wore one of her dresses to donate (that there may have been a fist fight over). (kidding. but everyone wanted it.)
the night was a huge success and it was incredible to watch everyone come together- our amazing volunteers ran the boutique, the high school students made the show a production, and i don’t think anyone could argue that the models had a blast showing off clothing from (or on it’s way to!) the attic. we have an incredible community that supports us and i am so thankful for that!
ps troy said my outfit doesn’t count since it’s not from my closet, so here’s one i wore over the weekend. are y’all getting tired of my white sweater? i think i’m in love (hence the gold heart locket).
pps don’t polka dots and floral prints combined make you feel all spring-y inside? i feel like bambi should be in the next room and little butterflies and birds should help me get dressed in the morning.
