scarf inspired remix

i’ve been amazed at the numerous remixes that can be inspired from a multi-colored scarf. this one has so many colors to pull from, which makes it a piece of cake!

with this outfit, i chose to play up the beige/tan tones and added a splash of yellow with a belt (that you can almost see in the first picture. just take my word it’s there, deal? deal.)

here are a few other ways i’ve styled it.

i must now mourn the fact (just for a second) that it’s getting too warm in texas to wear a scarf. insert moment of silence. thanks for sharing in my (ridiculous) grief.

Depending on the size and shape of the scarf, you could tie your hair up with it, tie it to your purse, use it as a sarong, or, my favorite, drape it over your shoulders, belt it, and call it a top (wear a tank or cami underneath for modesty). I’ve seen that idea and really like it…for some reason I just haven’t done it yet. I’m thinking this summer when I want a way to spice up my tanks that will be just the ticket! Thanks for always weighing in with awesome suggestions!
