{Remix Rewear Restyle Link Up} Scarves

Happy Monday, remixinistas!

If you’re new, Remix Rewear Restyle is a weekly challenge to remix, rewear, or restyle what is hanging in your closet. It’s a lot more fun to experiment with stepping out of your comfort zone and clothing ruts when you do it with a friend. Don’t worry about being right or wrong- there aren’t any rules except to include a piece that fits the challenge. So go shop that closet and link up your look!

I wear a scarf almost every day during the winter. They’re cozy, warm, and because they tend to play with colors, textures, and patterns, they’re an easy way to add visual interest to an outfit.

A scarf is also one of the fastest ways to create a “new” outfit. Take your go-to ensemble {mine is currently a button up, vest, jeans, and boots} and add a scarf. Voila!  A new twist on your favorite look.

I found this infinity scarf during my Black Friday escapades. A cozy knitted one in a neutral color had been on my list for a while, so when I spotted it, I burst out in a rendition of ‘We Are the Champions of Scarf Spotting.’ {I may have been watching too much New Girl.}

How was your Thanksgiving? Did you find any great deals on Black Friday or Small Business Saturday?

    Love your outfit, Caitlin! I’m thinking I need a similar vest! And can you believe I don’t have a single plain colored or knitted scarf? Definitely on my list, too! Thanks for hosting the link-up!

      Of course! My pleasure. Thanks for joining in :) Um…whaaat?! Yes. A knitted scarf will give you so (SO!) many new options for winter.

    A dark or neutral vest is on my Christmas list this year. I like the idea of pairing it with a scarf!
    I had a really good Thanksgiving – I hope you did too! I didn’t do any shopping over the weekend. We had other family things going on Friday and Saturday, so I spent most of the last few days at either my parents’ or my in-laws’. I’m going to be looking into some Cyber Monday deals soon, though!

      I hope you find one- I’ve been surprised how often I reach for mine. Thank you! We had a great Thanksgiving. I hope you had a great time with your family- and found some good Cyber Monday deals!

    You look lovely! I really like the blue and grey palette of this outfit. I hosted Thanksgiving dinner this year, and it went well. Friday was spent hanging out and reading. Saturday morning I virtually attended my little sister’s wedding in Ireland (we FaceTimed while she was getting ready, and the ceremony was streamed live) before we ventured out to shop for Christmas decorations. My husband suggested that we start a new tradition by setting up a little Christmas village on our buffet, and we scored everything we needed for 50% off!

      You are so sweet, Selah. Thank you :) How fun! And so sweet that you were able to FaceTime with her! It sounds like you had a great Thanksgiving- I’m so glad!

    You inspired me to wear my solid cowl today. I really like the color of yours. I’ve been pinning a lot of outfits that include cozy solid scarves. Very pretty outfit!

    What a gorgeous vest & scarf!
    I am in the process of trying to make a bulky scarf like that.
    Have a great day!
