pure ridiculousness

since troy and i have been under the weather for the past few days, we’ve watched a fair share of netflicks. last night i stumbled upon the pilot episode of the cosby show. it brought back such good memories of my childhood. i asked troy if he’d ever seen the crazy tropical intro from later episodes and he said no. i googled it this morning and couldn’t keep myself from laughing hysterically.*

watch this. it will make your day.

seriously. who came up with this? it’s so ridiculous but incredibly hilarious. i really want to make up a family dance one day. maybe my family will start sending video christmas cards each year. hm…the wheels are dangerously turning, my friends.

*laughing hysterically and silently next to your sick and sleeping husband is extremely difficult. i do not recommend it. however, everything’s funnier when you can’t laugh, so i have changed my mind and will recommend it for a good time.

ps follow up from yesterday: i did print myself the ‘no’s’ but haven’t taped them up yet. i couldn’t find any tape. boo. but i did ask one thing! (i asked my facebook friends to check out my blog which i did not want to do. i feel all weird when i ask people to look at what i’ve done.) but i got lots of sweet and encouraging responses that i wouldn’t have gotten had i not asked!

pps speaking of pure ridiculousness, wearing a plain tee with a blazer is the easiest thing ever and instantly dresses up a look. easy peasy.

My boys and I watched every of The Cosby Show last summer. GREATNESS! I never really thought about how ridiculous the tropical intro was, but you are so right. I definitely think you should pursue the video greeting cards. Ask Troy about it when he wakes up. Maybe he’ll like the idea OR maybe he’ll say NO. Either way, you win!

I LOVE a plain tee, blazer and skinny jeans. It’s one of my favorite looks ever! I’m even wearing that formula again today haha.
