no is the word i most hate. i’m not sure why, but when i think i’m going to hear it i get all squirmy inside and try to avoid it at all costs.

since i’m in the spirit of starting new things, i’ve decided to make it my goal to cross off 100 ‘no’s’ before the end of 2012.

i first read about this challenge on this inspiring lady’s blog and started to sweat when i read this sentence:

“Maybe you don’t like stirring the waters, rocking the boat, making a scene, or starting anything.”

troy and i have lots of conversations about how i don’t like to rock any sort of boat ever. i am mrs. safety-first. but i’ve got to admit, his adventurousness is one of my favorite things about him and the times i’ve been most adventurous are some of the greatest memories that i have.

you can’t tell from this picture at all, can you?

to make something happen around caitlin-land, i have to have action steps. i have 3 for this plan:

  1. i will print myself a super cute printable from becka’s blog (she came up with the 100 no challenge). it’s gold and glittery and will make tackling all those no’s more fun.
  2. i will put it up on my desk at home where i will see it every day.
  3. i ask one thing today.
  4. i’ll report back tomorrow. accountability, my friend. it’s the spice of life.

Ha. My bad. I kept adding to them. I really like goals…it may be a sickness.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the ‘by Caitlin’ at the top of each individual post if you click through to that page? I’ve spent so much time trying to figure it out it’s embarrassing.

Can “never say no to kat” be on the list?

    Just kidding…sort of.

I’ll bet you don’t get to cross off all of the “no”s in 2012. Who could possibly say no to you?! :)
Can’t wait to read your next post. Great blog!
