Four Bloggers, Four Skirts, Eight Fall Looks

Four Bloggers, Four Skirts, Eight Fall Looks

Remember when we did the eight summer looks? We’re back to show you eight more looks for fall!

A patterned skirt is one of my favorite pieces. It can be dressed up or down, and with layers, it can work year round. Those are the types of pieces you want to have in your closet!

This fall, I’ve styled my patterned skirt a couple of ways during the 31 Days, 31 Ways Remix, and have one more look coming with tomorrow’s final post. For today’s looks, I opted for a classic outfit with the black peplum top and metallic heels, and a vibrant and a little daring one, with the salmon blouse, mustard cardigan, and maroon wedges. The pieces you choose to pair an item with can totally change its look.

You can bet you’ll see a lot more of this skirt in the future; with all the colors, it’s perfect for creating tons of unique looks. An item with this many colors makes creating an outfit so easy it almost feels like cheating. For fool-proof color pairing, stick to colors in the same color family. With this skirt, I could do reds, oranges, blacks, browns, purples, greens, or yellows. It might be the most versatile item I own.
