Fall Capsule Wardrobe: Bonus Week

Fall Capsule Wardrobe Bonus Week

I’ve loved getting to talk fall looks and remixes with you for the past couple of weeks!

It never ceases to amaze me how many outfit combinations just a few pieces can create. In light of Greater, I chose to push myself and come up with an additional 5 outfits. Tune in tomorrow for all 35 looks in one spot.

As this series draws to a close, what are some things you’d like to hear more about? How to better use what’s in your closet? What pieces to add? How to shop thrift and consignment stores? Something else? Help me turn this into a place where we can hone our remixing skills together!

Now…on to the details.

Maybe something else to talk about could be your general shopping approach. Do stick to mostly clearance shopping for the good deals, or do you stay away from it because it’s too tempting to buy things you don’t need and just pay a little more for what you really want? Or do you just stick to the thrift store? Are you on a bunch of mailing lists to get coupons, or does that clutter up your inbox more than it’s worth? I know you talked once before about having a list, when you finished the year long challenge, but do you still do that? How has that worked out for you? I’m kind of struggling to figure out what is worth spending money on and whether I should buy things I really like when I find them or wait for a better deal. Any thoughts on how to decide whether a piece is worth buying and worth adding to your wardrobe without spending a ridiculous amount of time standing in the store thinking?
